Jurisdictional Determinations: Wetland and stream delineations provided by experienced, trained, and skilled delineators. ENV is able to provide the necessary data  to US Army Corps of Engineers for the purpose of obtaining a Jurisdictional Determination (JD), a legal determination.

404/401 Permitting: Able to provide certification for Pre-Construction, Nationwide, and Individual permits on projects in North Carolina. Whether its roads, culverts, temporary access, dams, ponds, buffers, mitigation, or whatever the project needs, ENV can obtain the necessary permits to keep you in compliance with the NC Division of Water Quality, NC Division of Land Quality, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Stream Restoration and Design: Priority I, II, and III stream restoration projects using natural design principles. ENV is able to design, permit, and monitor stream projects. Knowledgeable and accomplished staff trained in Rosgen stream classification and restoration principles are able to see stream projects through from beginning to end.

Stream Sampling and Qualitative Monitoring: The ENV team is able to follow-up on all stream restoration, construction, or mitigation projects with the required sampling and monitoring criteria set forth by NC Division of Water Quality and US Army Corps of Engineers.

Water Quality Study and Investigations: Able to provide a quantitative analysis of streams, wetlands, and watersheds determining water quality through biological, physical, and chemical analysis. Employing equipment used to measure biological, nutrient, and chemical components of these systems. ENV is also able to provide determinations of stream flow, 7Q10 assessments, and an analysis of hydrological characteristics.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments: ENV staff, as environmental professionals, have conducted more than one hundred separate Phase I ESAs, generating reports for land trusts, businesses, and homeowners. Let ENV provide you with a complete Phase I ESA report for banking, real-estate transactions, or piece of mind using ASTM E1527-05 standards.

Threatened and Endangered Species (T&E): ENV with a background in the biological and ecological sciences is skilled in assessing the presence for T&E species, NC species of concern, potential habitat modeling, and providing a report documenting these elements for your subject property. T&E reports are often required for large developments to land conservation efforts. Often times a species is found and a Section 7 Consultation-Biological Assessment is require by US fish and Wildlife Service documenting proposed activities in an area of concern. ENV can help by providing the documentation necessary for such projects whether it's a T&E or a Biological Assessment.

Baseline Inventories: ENV staff has a strong background in biology, ecology, and aquatic sciences. We can generate a baseline report for your subject property providing a complete list of vegetation, ecological functions, and zoological components of its environment for many purposes: education, conservation, or land stewardship. Using GIS techniques and field inspections, ENV can provide a comprehensive understanding of existing conditions as part of the baseline report.

NPDES Monitoring and Reporting: For land development projects involving erosion control and stormwater management plans, ENV can help design and implement a NPDES monitoring program to keep you in compliance with NCDLQ. ENV will monitor erosion control measures using EC&S plans, make recommendations on erosion control measure installation and maintenance, maintain site compliance with NCDLQ through NPDES inspection reports, keep record of on-site weather data, and monitor turbidity coming off-site. Our professional monitoring and reporting is complete, thorough, and reliable in order to keep your project on track by our trained, skilled, and experienced personnel.
